Masek Tented Lodge is an eco-friendly luxury camp situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, near Lake Masek. The lodge offers 30 spacious tents, each elevated on wooden platforms to provide panoramic views of the surrounding acacia woodlands and the lake. The tents are designed with a blend of traditional African decor and modern comforts, featuring en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, and private verandas. The family tent consists of two interconnected units with a shared bathroom and private porch, accommodating up to four guests.

The lodge operates on sustainable practices, utilizing solar power for electricity and collecting rainwater for its water supply. All products used are biodegradable, ensuring minimal environmental impact. Guests can enjoy a range of amenities, including a swimming pool, campfire area, and a main lounge with a bar and dining area overlooking the lake.

Activities at Masek Tented Lodge include game drives in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, guided walks to Lake Masek, cultural visits to nearby Maasai villages, and hot air balloon rides over the plains. The lodge is strategically located to offer prime viewing opportunities for the Great Migration, which occurs from December to April, as well as year-round sightings of the Big Five.

Access to the lodge is via a 5-hour drive from Arusha or a short flight to Ndutu Airstrip, followed by a brief transfer. The lodge is open year-round and welcomes children of all ages, making it suitable for families seeking an immersive safari experience.
