This 9-day expedition takes you on an immersive journey through northern Tanzania’s most striking and varied landscapes—combining remote wilderness areas, rich cultural encounters, and world-renowned wildlife destinations.

The expedition begins in the West Kilimanjaro region, where you’ll explore vast open plains shared by free-ranging wildlife and traditional Maasai communities. In the neighboring Enduimet Wildlife Management Area, enjoy uncrowded game drives and sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro, with a chance to see elephants, giraffes, and other plains game in their natural habitat.

From there, the route heads north to the volcanic terrain of Lake Natron, a stark and beautiful landscape home to flamingo-lined shores and the dramatic Ol Doinyo Lengai, an active volcano sacred to the Maasai. Here, you’ll hike to waterfalls, explore ancient lava fields, and experience the raw edge of the Rift Valley.

Next, the expedition dives into the Serengeti, where you’ll spend several days tracking iconic wildlife across endless savannahs—lions, cheetahs, elephants, and, depending on the season, vast herds of migrating wildebeest. The journey continues to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater—a natural sanctuary teeming with predators, herbivores, and birdlife.

The final leg of the expedition takes you to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and scenic river valleys. It’s the perfect setting to end the journey on a quieter note, surrounded by nature and away from the crowds.

This expedition is designed for those who want to experience the full sweep of Tanzania’s northern circuit—from remote cultural landscapes to premier wildlife reserves—in one unforgettable adventure.
